HOLDER tractors offer you constant four-wheel drive in all situations. One of the most common disadvantages of this performing feature in all other respects is that it balks at some obstacles, often losing traction at the most inappropriate times. Typically, when one wheel loses tractions, all the driving torque transfers to that wheel leaving it spinning helplessly, or on a limited slip you get “wheel hop”.
HOLDER’s electronically operated Differential Lock provides complete locking on all four wheels. It is activated and operated in response to changes in engine torque, improving overall stability and power distribution. The differential system locks the four wheel motors relative to each other so that all wheels turn at the same speed, providing 100% traction. So with a HOLDER tractor, you can push heavier loads, power through more snow, mow extreme slopes and navigate rougher terrain.
HOLDER’s outstanding traction ensures optimal performance and safety.

To maximize weight transfer over the wheels, in addition to the four equal size tires and wheel motors, HOLDER has implemented a Hydraulic Stabilizer. The sophisticated balance mechanics keep the wheels fully on the ground at all times. So traction is optimized and the functionality of a HOLDER extends even to steep slopes of up to 40° incline, and uneven terrain eliminating the need for special slope-cutting machinery. It also enables the tractor to easily handle curbs and rough terrain, even with a full load. The Stabilizer system helps the vehicle and its load stay parallel to the ground, making a HOLDER more productive and safer than other tractors
This combination of optimal weight transfer, stabilization and low-center of gravity also eliminates the need for dual wheels, which are more expensive, potentially destructive to the ground, and cut the effective reach of side-mounted attachments.

The weight and momentum of a front-mounted attachment creates a lot of tension on the tractor, which can eventually cause premature wear, leakage and other damage to the vehicle. Constant bounce can interfere with productivity, while causing operator fatigue and stress. HOLDER has developed a system to smooth pulsation and bounce, and to maximize the precision of the attachment even in extreme working conditions.
The Hydraulic Accumulator compensates for the bounce generated from working with an attachment at full load, in rough terrain, mounting curbs, etc. The attachment floats independently of the tractor, absorbing shocks and dampening pump pulsation and flow fluctuations.
HOLDER’s unique system reduces operator fatigue, prolongs both tractor and attachment operational lives, and improves attachment performance.

HOLDER tractors benefit from heavy-duty front 3-point arms adjustable to Category I and II attachments. The arm pivots and sways, allowing optimum control over ground contact and angle of attachments. With the quick attach hitches and adjustable hooks, all attachments can be mounted and dismounted easily, even without tools.
HOLDER’s Hydraulic Front Arm Oscillation provides maximum efficiency, allowing attachments to smoothly follow the contours of the terrain. The system acts as a pendulum, adjusting to the ground’s bumps and inclines. It permits the operator to work with precision, and does a clean job in just one pass — whether you’re sweeping, mowing or removing snow. It also prevents collision of the attachment with the ground, so no scalping when mowing.
All models offer hydraulically operated front and rear attachments. They are independent from one another and can be operated together or separately, even at different speeds. It enables precision-like control over the job at hand, and helps get it done faster. HOLDER’s smart engineering has developed a hydraulic system that operates independently of the hydrostatic drive system. Should you break an attachment hydraulic hose, or damage the arms or hitches, isolating the hydraulics from the hydrostatic drive will keep you moving. A HOLDER won’t leave you stranded.
The Hydraulic Front Arm Oscillation, coupled with the three-point linkage system, is designed to give the operator complete control over attachments at all times. Simple in-cab adjustments ensure proper angles for sweepers, flushers, plows and other implements, providing effective usage and reducing operator fatigue.

HOLDER has developed the unique Load-Sensing System to calibrate the power between the drive system and the front and rear PTOs that control attachment speed.
The Load-Sensing device is designed to gauge the power requirements of the attachment and automatically adjust ground speed to maintain the optimum PTO speed. This system increases productivity and puts more control in the hands of the operator, who can now rely on the attachment functioning effectively.
HOLDER’s system monitors load and adjust its performance for maximum efficiency. It gives the operator a better control over the job at hand because the PTO speed is optimized at all time. Horsepower is used more efficiently allowing better fuel economy and improved performance.

Conventional tractors have axle shank steering, where only the front wheels turn when the tractor is steered. With HOLDER’s patented articulated design, the whole front part of the vehicle is steered into the new direction, and the rear wheels follow precisely in the front wheels path. This means that front implements are always well positioned to their task. Likewise, rear attachments focus on the area just treated.
In addition, HOLDER’s unique Oscillation and Articulation Technology features two steering rams and two stabilizing springs, that create a twisting motion applying even pressure to the ground and keeping implements level with ground contours. In conjunction with the hydraulic stabilizer, HOLDER tractors provide the most maneuverable and stable tractors with the best traction and power to ground in the industry.
With this technology, HOLDER tractors offer an incredible turning radius that allows operators to maneuver easily in narrow areas and work closely around posts, fireplugs, borders or trees. With the rear wheels following the path laid by the front axle, all models minimize damage to the ground when working on fragile terrain or for landscaping tasks.

HOLDER has created a hydrostatic transmission with two mechanical speed ranges. Power transmitted hydraulically allows continuously variable control on both the tractor and the attachment for high precision work.
The two-speed ranges provide more power and less fuel consumption by letting the operator adjust the tractor speed and torque as well as the attachment PTO speed. It offers extensive power reserves, high flexibility values and lower fuel consumption at lower speeds, while maintaining the same engine performance.
HOLDER tractors provide the convenience and advantage of hand and foot controls to choose from. It allows the operator to either drive with a single foot pedal or control ground speed while maintaining PTO speed by hand with the dial. This system also reduces the use of brakes and gives the operator greater control over tractor and attachment speeds. The self-contained Hydrostatic Drive System is independent of the tractor hydraulics, reducing the risk of contamination and costly repairs.

Engineered for the first time at the beginning of the 20th century by Ferdinand Porsche for front-wheel drive automobiles, the wheel motor has since been perfected to provide independent four-wheel drive. The major benefit sought by HOLDER was to control drive torque without requiring a transmission, drive shaft, differential gear or other complex and heavy components. The wheel motors, supplied by two pumps, provide superior traction and forward momentum because each wheel receives exactly the power and torque needed.
Traction and stability control are automatically and constantly adjusted with each wheel motor electronically controlled to deliver precisely the power and torque required for any situation. You benefit from a very sophisticated system, but the complexity of the mechanics is reduced — and so is the overall weight of the tractor, helping to prevent damage to lawns and increasing fuel economy.

HOLDER has developed a unique articulated tractor design with a functional over-engine area. The low profile platform over the rear of the tractor allows unobstructed visibility.
The versatility of the tractor is enhanced by a full range of attachments that are adaptable to the top of the platform for greater efficiency and increased capacity. Easily mounted and dismounted, over-engine attachments include hydraulic dump-bodies for increased material capacity; a water tank ideal for spraying, fertilizing or anti-icing; sanders and vacuum sweepers.
Increased capacity translates into longer routes and decreased downtime when sanding or spraying — increase efficiency and productivity.

HOLDER’s ergonomically designed cab is built for comfort and productivity. Safety glass surrounds the operator, offering unparalleled 360° view of the job at hand and surrounding areas. A high contoured windshield provides perfect visibility for truck-loading snow or handling with the forklift and there is a lower front window for strategic viewing of working attachments.
As part of HOLDER’s focus on the operator’s safety and comfort, the cab is mounted on a sound and vibration insulated platform. Equipped with three safety openings (two side-doors and a roof hatch), the cabin provides for all contingencies.
Cabs are heated and air-conditioned. The air-intake is filtered to reduce dust from mowing or sweeping operations. Controls are ergonomically designed for easy use and accessibility, like the single joystick that controls all functions at once. Every effort has been taken to ensure safety, reduce operator fatigue ad improve productivity.
