COLD PLANER
A sharp solution! For road and highway maintenance, milling is often chosen over excavation. The cold planer is the tool of choice for small repairs, potholes and small cuts. HOLDER offers a more effective and secure alternative to cold planers often found on skid steer loader and opened vehicles. The cold planer makes it easy to repair driveways, sidewalk cracks, and access ramps. The controlled milling speed maximizes the operator’s handling and provides optimum precision. In addition, the compact size of HOLDER tractors minimizes obstruction to traffic while milling is in progress. Front-mounted, the three-point hydraulic driven (22 gpm) planer provides excellent visibility. The attachment is engineered to reduce tractor vibration to a minimum and noise in the soundproof cabin is a comfortable 79 dba. The hydraulic side shift and angling allows for beveled cuts. All controls are easily operated within the cab, including tractor speed (with cruise control) allowing infinite ground speeds from as slow as 3 feet per minute! This planer has two outstanding features that make it your best choice: Open Drum Design: The exclusive open-flight drum design greatly reduces the power loss caused by the pics and drum passing through the already planed material; standard planing drums lose power when material is trapped between the pics and the drum.
